Only if you want to use Google Maps. The plugin ships a Leaflet/OpenStreetMap provider that requires no key, no account, and no billing. Pick it in <strong>Settings → Slick Google Map → Default provider</strong>, or per-map with <code>provider="leaflet"</code>.
