Trump invited Sandra and Brad, a Las Vegas couple, and their two young children on stage at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa while promoting his administration’s Trump Accounts and “no tax on tips” initiatives. The parents thanked him for the tax policy and the accounts for their children. Trump said Sandra worked as a waitress at a Las Vegas casino, while Brad served as an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He said the couple had benefited from his administration’s tax policies and were investing in Trump Accounts for both children. “It’s a beautiful family,” Trump said as they joined him on stage.
Fox News reported that the toddler appeared ready to make a break for it as Sandra began addressing the crowd. Trump quickly reached out to prevent the child from leaving the stage. “I don't want him to be Biden and fall off the stage!” Trump said, drawing laughter from the audience. The family had another exchange with Trump later in the event. Sandra told him, “He did want to say a little something to you, Mr. President,” to which Trump replied, “Yes, thank you, thank you very much.” The toddler then babbled briefly before his mother softly prompted him, “Thank you for my Trump Account.”
“Thank you for my Trump Account,” the boy repeated into the microphone, prompting an uproar of applause from the crowd. “Good job!” Trump said with a smile as he clapped for the toddler and the audience continued cheering. Trump is a father of five and has 11 grandchildren.
