‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is building anticipation among fans eager to see Yash return to the big screen. At a recent pre-release event in Hyderabad, Yash spent time with fans and signed autographs for them. One particular gesture toward a fan during the event has since won hearts online.At the event, a fan rushed towards Yash hoping for a selfie, and the actor readily agreed to pose with him. As Yash’s bodyguard moved to pull the fan back and maintain a distance, Yash stopped him and asked him not to interfere. He then calmly clicked a selfie with the fan, while Huma Qureshi was seen smiling at the warm gesture.The video went viral online, with numerous users showering praise on Yash and calling him a “gem of a person”. Spotting other fans trying to climb onto the speaker stands, he urged them to get down and prioritise their safety.Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ features Yash in a double role, alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles. The trailer, released earlier this month, gave audiences a glimpse into the film’s gangster world while also touching upon the relationship between Raya and his son.Interestingly, ‘Toxic’ marks Yash’s return to the big screen after the huge success of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. The film has generated considerable buzz ahead of its August 26 theatrical release.In addition to ‘Toxic’, Yash’s upcoming projects include Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, in which he plays Ravana. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. It is slated for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release.
