The development comes as the controversy around the actor's reported exit from the film continues to unfold.

IMPPA to examine documents related to 'Don 3'

According to the India Today report, IMPPA's legal team will now go through the documents and proofs submitted by Ranveer Singh's father before arriving at a decision that is fair to both parties. IMPPA President Abhay Sinha confirmed that the meeting took place on Tuesday and went smoothly, adding that the association would decide its next course of action after reviewing the plea.

The row started after Ranveer Singh's reported exit from 'Don 3', which reportedly left producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani facing a major financial setback. Through Excel Entertainment, the producers have sought around Rs 45 crore in damages from the actor. Despite intervention from industry bodies, the matter has remained unresolved.Tensions escalated further in May when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer.
The directive was withdrawn in June following talks involving IMPPA, the Producers Guild of India and CINTAA, though the financial dispute has continued to simmer.

Ranveer Singh begins shooting for 'Pralay'

Amid the ongoing row, Ranveer Singh has already moved on to his next project, 'Pralay', a zombie-based thriller directed by Jai Mehta, also starring Kalyani Priyadarshan. The film went on floors last week and is currently being shot in Mumbai.
