Daredevil’s debut in the Avengers is perhaps a long shot. Charlie Cox confirmed that his character will not be part of the awaited film, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ much to fans’ disappointment. After the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen appeared in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ as Peter Parker’s lawyer and was revived in the series ‘Born Again,’ speculations about his sneaky entrance in the MCU fluttered around the internet. However, the 43-year-old firmly denied his part anywhere near the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.Here’s a closer look at Charlie Cox’s response to his appearance in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’During a panel discussion at MCM Comic Con, Charlie Cox was asked whether he would join the Avengers in the December 2027 film. “No, I'm not going to be in it, no,” he said, per ScreenRant, and humourously added, “And you should believe me now. I’m not a liar.” Previously, the actor had denied speculations of starring in Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man’ movies – which turned out to be true, unlike the case of Andrew Garfield for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ In October 2025, Cox told Phase Hero, “I'm not, I'm not in Spider-Man” in London, and many fans believed it to be untrue.As for Charlie Cox, he will reprise his character of Daredevil in Season 3 of ‘Born Again,’ which will premiere in early 2027. Meanwhile, the Avengers are scheduled to assemble this December to fight Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ The ensemble includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, Channing Tatum, Vanessa Kirby, Danny Ramirez, Simu Liu, Sebastian Stan, and many more.‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will hit theatres on December 17, 2026.
