5 reasons Vizag’s new Bhogapuram airport is built for global connectivity

After nearly a century of operation, the old airport in Visakhapatnam has officially ceased its flights. In its place, the newly inaugurated Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram has begun serving commercial flights. This modern facility is equipped to accommodate millions of travelers and international flights, while the former airport will focus on general aviation and private services.

Triggered by extreme panic, distress? 6-year-old student's death in Vizag sparks uproar

A six-year-old boy died after an alleged assault by a teacher in Visakhapatnam. The child collapsed in his classroom and was later declared dead at a hospital. His family claims panic and distress caused the fatal collapse after the alleged incident. The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the unfortunate event. Legal action is being taken against those responsible and the school management.
