JPSC-JSSC protest: CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke backs Jharkhand students, says 'in solidarity with them'

RANCHI: Support for the ongoing JPSC-JSSC protest in Jharkhand found a fresh voice on Monday as Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke shared a video of JLKM leader Devendra Nath Mahato participating in the students' Vidhan Sabha march, captioning the post, "In solidarity with the students of Jharkhand!"The video, posted by Dipke on X, shows Mahato taking part in the march as protesting students gathered near the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha amid heavy security and barricading.Dipke's post comes as students continue their agitation against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations in the state.The CJP had organised protests at Jantar Mantar last month over issues including the NEET paper leak and other exam-related concerns.The movement has since sought to position itself as a platform representing students and young people on education and examination-related issues.Meanwhile, Mahato, who has been on a hunger strike at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium for nine days, joined the JPSC-JSSC protesters' Vidhan Sabha gherao on Monday.He said the state government would have to listen to the students' demands and urged Chief Minister Hemant Soren to avoid police action against the protesters.The students have been demanding cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination and a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities.
