Two months to decide on fresh probe into blast

Pune: The high court has directed the special court (ATS) in Pune to decide within two months on a plea seeking reinvestigation of the July 10, 2014, Faraskhana blast case.
Justice Sarang Kotwal issued the directive on a petition of lawyer Tosif Shaikh. The ATS had closed the investigation after the five terror suspects they identified were killed in a police encounter.Shaikh had filed an application before the special court on November 30, 2017, seeking reinvestigation claiming the five men were wrongly named in the blast case.
