Lucknow University’s first bachelor of hotel management and catering technology (BHMCT) batch will get hands-on industry exposure, internships and placement opportunities following a new collaboration between the university and Ramada by Wyndham, Lucknow.
The university joined hands with the hotel chain during the ‘Deeksharambh 2026’ orientation programme for its first BHMCT batch on Monday. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the practical requirements of the hospitality industry.
Under the collaboration, students will get opportunities for industrial training, internships, live projects and campus recruitment drives. Hospitality experts will also conduct guest lectures, workshops and seminars to familiarise students with industry practices. The partnership will also support faculty development, case studies, joint research and curriculum enhancement.
“The collaboration with Ramada by Wyndham reflects our commitment to meaningful industry-academia partnership. Students will get practical exposure along with classroom learning, helping them develop the skills needed to compete in the global hospitality industry,” said LU spokesperson Mukul Srivastava.
