Girl, accomplice held for stealing ornaments from her home

Indore: Two persons were arrested on Thursday in a case of burglary reported at a house in Dewas district last month. One of the arrested persons was the complainant’s daughter.A resident of Sonda village, Gattu Lal Silodiya, had filed a complaint that gold and silver ornaments kept in an almirah at his residence had been stolen. Police had registered a case under relevant sections of BNS and after probe found that the complainant’s daughter Komal and her accomplice Pankaj Singh Panwar, a resident of Naklan village, had carried out the burglary.Both were arrested and all stolen goods --- gold lockets, ear tops, earrings, silver anklets, silver waist chain, traditional gold ornaments, and silver coins --- were recovered.
