16 injured as passenger bus collides with school vehicle

Indore: Sixteen people were injured on Thursday morning after a private passenger bus collided with a school bus on Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway near Peepalkheda under Naugaon police station area of Dhar district.The accident occurred when the passenger bus, traveling towards Indore, attempted to overtake another vehicle and collided with an oncoming school bus heading toward Ghatabillod to pick up students. The impact caused damage to both vehicles.Local residents rescued trapped passengers who were later taken to Dhar District Hospital in 108 ambulance.According to Civil Surgeon Dr Mukund Burman, 12 women, three men, and one schoolgirl suffered minor injuries and were undergoing treatment.
