Brothers-in-law killed in hit-and-run near Sarai Khwaja toll plaza
Gurgaon: Two motorcycle-borne men were killed after an unidentified vehicle hit their bike near the Sarai Khwaja toll plaza on the Delhi-Agra national highway at 5 pm on Saturday.The deceased Golu, from Dausa, Rajasthan, and Prince, from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, were brothers-in-law. Prince was married to Golu’s sister. Golu worked as a loading tempo driver, while Prince was a delivery executive.The duo had gone to Faridabad for some personal work. While Prince was riding the motorcycle, Golu was travelling as a pillion rider when an unidentified vehicle hit their bike and fled the spot. Both sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.A crowd gathered at the spot after the accident, which led to a traffic jam on the highway before police cleared the passage.The bodies were sent to Badshah Khan govt hospital for post-mortem.Police said the vehicle involved in the collision has not yet been traced, and CCTV footage from the area is being examined to identify it.
