NEW DELHI: A 19-year-old man died and another was injured after a truck allegedly hit their motorcycle at IP Flyover in central Delhi early Sunday morning.The deceased, Aman, a resident of Madanpur Khadar, was riding a black Hero Honda Splendor with his 22-year-old pillion rider Alber, a resident of Batla House in Jamia Nagar, when the accident took place.The two were travelling towards Sarai Kale Khan when their motorcycle was allegedly hit by an unidentified truck.Police said a PCR call regarding the accident was received at IP Estate police station around 6.21am after being transferred from Civil Lines police station. Local police staff reached the spot and a crime team was also called.Aman sustained fatal injuries and died at the spot, while Alber was injured. Both were shifted to the Trauma Centre, where Alber's condition is stated to be stable.Police have initiated legal action and are making efforts to identify and trace the truck involved in the accident, which fled the spot after the collision.
