2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: Top things to know

Royal Enfield has updated the Continental GT 650 for 2026, adding a few styling and convenience features to its popular cafe racer. The motorcycle continues with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine, while subtle changes to the design and equipment give it a refreshed appeal. Prices start at Rs 3,58,427, ex-showroom.One of the key updates is the addition of new LED indicators. The bike also gets a black-painted instrument cowl, adding a sharper finish to the front section.Royal Enfield has also introduced a USB Type-C fast charging port. This allows riders to charge compatible smartphones and other devices while riding.The colour options have also received some changes. The Rocker Red variant now comes with a blacked-out engine, exhaust and cast alloy wheels. The existing Apex Grey also gets the blacked-out engine and cast alloy wheel treatment. The other two colour options, British Racing Green and Mr Clean, continue with a polished engine and traditional spoke wheels.There are no changes to the motorcycle's engine. The Continental GT 650 continues to use Royal Enfield's 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, which produces 47 hp at 7,150 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.The motorcycle retains its steel tubular double-cradle frame, developed in collaboration with Harris Performance. Suspension duties continue to be handled by telescopic front forks at the front and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers at the back.The updated Continental GT 650 will be available across Royal Enfield dealerships in India from August 14, 2026. The Rocker Red and British Racing Green variants are priced at Rs 3,58,427, while the Apex Grey costs Rs 3,80,921. The top-spec Mr Clean is priced at Rs 3,87,667. All prices are ex-showroom.
