Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 has left people around the world in utter shock. Now, renowned boxing promoter Jake Paul has offered Will Smith and Chris Rock $15 million each to step in the ring and settle their differences.
Smith lost his cool and struck Rock in the face after the comedian made a joke about the appearance of Smith’s wife.
Jake took to his twitter handle and wrote, "I got $15 million for Will Smith and $15 million for Chris Rock ready to go," "Let's do it in August on my undercard," he said, responding to comedia Sal Vulcano’s tweet, “Over/under on how much Jake Paul is gonna offer Chris Rock and Will Smith for a boxing PPV?”
Meanwhile, Rock has declined to file a police report against Smith, who won the Best Actor award minutes after the incident. Will later took to his Instagram to publicly apologise Rock for the same, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness”.
