I had fun today and changed out my chalkboard blocks. For the last couple months it has said “Let It Snow”. I’m ready for spring and picked a March saying – In Like a Lamb (this year) Out Like a Lion. These blocks are a lot of fun to stack in different ways so I “posed” them and took a few different pictures!

I used my new chalk ink markers. If I ever want to use a different style of writing I find a font I like and print it out so I can copy it (sort of).

I did a search online for the lamb and lion clipart.

I used green as my main color – to go with the March theme!

My husband is holding out for a couple days – hoping that March will be coming in like a lion so that it will be nicer at the end of March. We calve out cows – meaning that our cows have babies and we’ll be going strong by the end of March – sometimes we have 10-15 born in one day! We actually had our first one today. He is a cutie! It’s amazing to watch them being born and, within minutes – get up and get a drink. Within an hour – they can be running and jumping around playing! He’s a little tired now – all cozy on the hay.

These blocks are lot of fun to play with and would be easy for anyone to make a set for themselves!
