How it works

The QR that
speaks first.

Up to 40% of the QR matrix is yours. No error correction fiddling.

A standard QR code is random-looking black-and-white noise — readable by a scanner, meaningless to a human glancing at it. TextQR changes that by designing the QR code's pixel pattern so your actual message is visible inside it, while the code still scans normally with any phone camera.

Here's the process:

You choose your text — a name, a word, or a call to action.
TextQR generates the code — it builds a valid, scannable QR code where the dark modules are arranged to spell out your text, so the message reads at a glance, before anyone scans it.
You download and use it — on flyers, packaging, business cards, or invitations, with no separate caption or label needed underneath.

Because the text is part of the code's own structure rather than a label next to it, it works anywhere a normal QR code works — print, screens, packaging — and saves the space a caption would otherwise take.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Everything you need to know before creating your first TextQR.

Yes. TextQR codes follow the same QR standard as any other QR code, so they scan reliably with any phone's built-in camera or QR app. The visible text is built into the code's pixel design and does not interfere with scanning.

A regular QR code needs a separate text label placed near it to explain what it does. A TextQR embeds the message directly into the QR pattern itself, so the code communicates its purpose visually without extra design elements or space.

Common uses include flyers, event invitations, packaging, business cards, posters, and social media graphics — anywhere a QR code can double as a visual call to action.
