WHAT A STRANGE WORLD WE SHARE

Share Your World 20th October What a weird world we share. It has always been kind of peculiar, probably for hundreds of years. That I was not -- still AM not -- noticing everything is simply that my short term memory holds for less than a minute. Sometimes I forget what I'm saying while I'm saying … Continue reading WHAT A STRANGE WORLD WE SHARE

ALL HALLOW’S EVE – 2024

Not scared of ghouls, goblins, ghosts or even fierce long-legged beasties. Halloween is less frightening than reality. I needed something to buoy up holiday spirits. I'm not sure this is it. 🎃👻🩻🦇🕷️ This is Wiccan Samhain marking the end of summer and the start of winter. A good Samhain to all you witches out there. … Continue reading ALL HALLOW’S EVE – 2024

PUMPKINS AWEIGH – GARRY ARMSTRONG

AND SOON, HALLOWEEN A child. A field. Enough pumpkins to bring the Great Pumpkin down to earth at last. And a small child, lost in a great ocean of orange.

THE BLAZE – TOM CURLEY

Our friends took us to this thing called The Blaze.  It's huge and includes thousands of professionally-carved pumpkins.  Everything in these photos is a real carved pumpkin. Amazing.  This is why the podcast was late, but what a great experience!

We bought two pretty big ones. Not the greatest pumpkins by bulk, but they were perfectly shaped for perfect carving.

Aw, c'mon. … Continue reading SHARING MY WORLD – OCTOBER’S END AND WINTER BEGINS – Marilyn Armstrong

SHARING MY WORLD AT HARVEST TIME – Marilyn Armstrong

Share Your World 10-14-19 QUESTIONS: Why do we have such trouble telling our loved ones that we love them?  Do you have that kind of communication issue with your loved ones? I did have that problem when I was younger, but I worked on fixing it and I don't have it anymore. Probably proving that yes, … Continue reading SHARING MY WORLD AT HARVEST TIME – Marilyn Armstrong

GOBLINS AND PUMPKINS BY THE ROAD – Marilyn Armstrong

September 25, 2019 – PUNKINS! Pumpkins are no longer just big, orange globes that either become the pie or the jack o'lantern. There are white ones and Goblinesque round ones, tall ones, and thin long ones and sugar pumpkins (for pie baking). This farm had them all ... and some really impressive tomatoes which I'd … Continue reading GOBLINS AND PUMPKINS BY THE ROAD – Marilyn Armstrong
