Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee is the founder and CEO of Medra, where she is building the Physical AI Scientist – a closed-loop system that tightly integrates AI-driven scientific reasoning with automated experimentation to accelerate discovery. An award-winning researcher, Michelle has worked at NVIDIA, SpaceX, and McKinsey. Her work spans applied AI, robotics, and large-scale engineering systems, with a focus on translating advanced computation into real-world scientific and industrial impact. Michelle earned her PhD in Robotics, as well as her master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, from Stanford University.
