I think this is becoming a thing. But a good one because I have tons of vids bookmarked and most of them are worth sharing.

This week it's a Firefly vid set to Wicked music. It was one of those that gave me ALL the FEELINGS when I first watched it and it still does.

So a while back I participated in the WIP meme with everything started that hasn’t yet seen the light of day. It was a long list and I have more ideas to add that I haven’t written yet. So more lists here:

Crossover ideas that I want to write (or have someone else write *waggles eyebrows*)

1. Leverage/Criminal Minds — I actually started this one as comment-fic for lillian13 , but the basic premise is that the mark Nate’s crew needs to find has been captured by a serial killer in a podunk town and since his death would not help the client, Nate says, "let’s go catch a serial killer," posing of course as one of the BAU teams on record. Hilarity ensues. When Hotch finds out he is Not Amused.

2. Leverage/Hawaii Five-0 — The idea for this one was that the H50 season finale is just the sort of situation that the Leverage team cleans up. I may have started writing this one already… Basically, Danny gets drunk and spills his sob story on the internet because a website asked him if he had a problem he needed help with. The next morning Nate calls. I decided that if I do write this one, if it’s from Danny’s point of view I don’t actually have to keep track of what the Leverage team is doing, which is always my stalling point for writing Leverage fic — I’m not very good at capers. But I figure since both make about the same level of sense, they’re perfect for each other.

3. Hawaii Five-0/Stargate Atlantis — Even though I broke up with SGA, I still love Ronon to pieces, and reading some John/Ronon goodness, and watching way too much H50, I had this idea. So it’s after SGA season 5 (note I have not seen season 5 so bear with me) or AU where they end up on Earth afterward, whatever. The point is, for some reason Ronon and John have to go on the run, and John sends Ronon ahead to the airport where he gets on the first plane to Hawaii (I haven’t figured out why Hawaii yet, it might have been the first plane to take off - doesn’t matter.) So Ronon ends up in the beach village where Kono’s surfer friend lives and that’s where she meets Ronon. He chops his hair off at some point. He also shows up on an Law Enforcement alert from the mainland, and hence there is tension and plot. John arrives at some point, possibly with Rodney and Teyla or they may be off Doing Helpful Things elsewhere. H50 ends up helping John and Ronon because that’s how they roll and everyone goes surfing.

4. Stargate Atlantis/ Firefly — Ronon-fic again. This one grew out of my into_a_bar story from last fall, Thin as Tinfoil. Ronon is stranded alone in the Firefly ‘verse, and through circumstance ends up working for Niska. He ends up part of the team sent after Serenity, and ends up defecting to them, all the while looking for an astrophysicist to get him home. River might be able to help.

5. Firefly/NCIS fusion — I know I’ve talked about this one before, but this would be a NCIS story primarily. A small casefic as if they lived in the Firefly ‘verse and Serenity came to town.

So that’s the current wish list of crossovers. Like so often happens, I have so many things I want to write, a number I pick at periodically, and one story I’m trying to finish before the fall season starts - my former Merlin big bang which is now the Merlin fic of epic doom.

If Gibbs and his team lived in the Firefly 'verse, what would they be like?

I'm not thinking a ship.  I'm thinking more some colony on a planet about midway between the Core and the Rim that's got some money, an Alliance base, but frontier roots that still run deep.  It's a busy port and way station for more upscale travelers.
