I love this game—it's the only one that has given me the same feeling as Oathbreaker. But I can't ignore the fact that it's starting to lose some of its spark because of the delays. I know the extra time is being used to make the game better, and I respect that, but delays inevitably chip away at the hype. I'm still going to play it when it releases, but I think it's something the writer should be aware of.
I completely understand, I have felt that way as a player in the past and unfortunately there is nothing I can really do about it, we are working as fast as we can, we are getting close of the french betatesting for the full game which is encouraging for a full release but we still have a couple month of work ahead with the translation, testing, art and polishing.
I guess I can only cross my fingers that the game is good enough to reignite the hype when the time comes! <3

Our artist really has a way to make everyone hotter than they have any right to be XD fortunately thanks to our generous backer we will make a DLC to romance him after the game release.
Hello, optional ones yes, the demo has none as there is two toward the end of the game, but you can skip them entirely with no consequences on your romance. (Either in game choices, either by selecting the relevant option in the settings).
Although the game has a pretty mature tone overall so I still don't advise it for children outside of the sexual things (death, moral dilemma etc.)

Since then the games page reads to be released "soon" in my language.
Well, i would rather have a good game than a rushed game but honestly it is since that long that i have but forgotten all about this game and stumbled by accident over it again...
I will probably take a look at the new 3.0 Demo and wonder if the release is now any sooner. ;)
Hello, first I'm sorry for the wait, it's true we deeply underestimated the time it would take to create such a game while all working full time beside, but progress has been steady over the years. I'm currently editing the end of chapter 9 out of 10. For now, we are expecting a release in 2026.
Also, I had no access to GOG for a long time, so I couldn't even publish the new versions or just update the page or change the release date. I have access to it now, so I need to take a look to update it but it's new so I'm a little intimidated, for now I suggest steam/itch.io as more reliable sources for the game information.

Hello, it's unlikely because adapting the UI to the phone is very complicated and time consuming and no one will pay a flat amount of money for a mobile game so we would have to find another monetization system which is very hard.

Hello, that's not in our plans for the moment, as it requires a lot of UI adjustment and most of all, the dreadful stores. It's really not well adjusted to our buy once and play as much as your want type of economic model and stores requires almost monthly updates which is a lot to deal with >.<
Hello, thanks for your kind words, unfortunately, there won't be any hair colour picks for the final release. Both for story reasons, but honestly mostly because our artist is too perfectionist, she can't just colour swap the thing and be done with it (like even for the skin colour, she made different facial features), she has to adjust the shade with each colour so it looks natural rince and repeat for all the hair variation (and there will be more in the final version!) and the skin colour, it was too much scope creep for us sorry.
I am glad you found the system intuitive enough! If you feel overwhelmed by it during the full game, you will have an option to switch to unlimited resources. I believe the management part brings some extra challenges, but the point of the game is to be fun to everyone so it's perfectly valid to play it for the story only <3
I'm excited to romance the General. He is so sweet in the demo, I adore him already. I wish I had made it to the kickstarter or the late backer thing on backerkit, but oh well, far too late for that! This was a wonderful experience. I loved how much choice we got in the Empress' choices and how every action had a clear consequence. The petitions were engaging, the artwork is spectacular, and the overall format of the game is *chef's kiss*. Can't wait to play the full game in the future! 🥰
This. This is what a good visual novel looks like. I really was considering that maybe I was too harsh about visual novels for being slow and dry - but this completely reignited my standards. Far too many are slow and dry and my disappointment in many is warranted. Thank you for reminding that yes I DO know what I'm talking about and my taste is still solid; many visual novels DO indeed suck in the quality department and are simply comics that gamers are demanded to click through to look at and nothing more.
This is probably one of my most favorite games I've ever played (even though its a demo). The detail, story line, art style and everything about it is amazing! I'm also in love with Theodore (he gives me Prof Snape vibes :D). Thank you so much for making it and I'm very eager for the release of the full game!!<3
