I used red cardstock for the mat and for the stitched die cut.
The patterned paper is from "Man About Town" (Wild Rose Studio).
Stitched Circle die: Sizzix.
WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card die for the label, which says "Yes" in Norwegian.

I fussy cut it and glued it to the Circle.

At first I want to say a warm WELCOME

to Anesha and Stefanie as my new followers!

Ab und zu gibt es grosse Überraschungen,

die den Tag zum leuchten bringen.

Diese Woche hat uns ein Freund mitgeteilt,

dass er einen grossen Fisch gefangen hatte,

und er und seine Frau wollten uns ein Teil davon schenken.

Wir hatten eine sehr schmackhafte Malzeit.

Als Dankeschön machte ich ihm diese Karte.

Für die Challenge "Animal Friends" ist sie vielleicht "gewagt"?

Denn der Fisch ist ja tot! ;)

CAS Birthday Card for a Man

On the blog "The Male Room" there is this challenge:

"Inspired by Television".

I got inspired from a series about hiking on Swiss Television,

and as I got this month's freebie from Beccy's Place,

I thought of the song "These boots are made for walking".

For my card I used:

Creme double card A6;

Creme paper for the mat;

Designpaper: Marianne Design;

Brown scrap paper;

Text written on my computer;

Image: Beccy (pre coloured and hand cut);

Corner die: La-La-Land;

Label die: Unknown;

Metal "pearls";

Distress ink and brown pen.

Ich glaube, dass (fast) ganz Europa die Frauen Fussball EM

geschaut hat.

Naja. Vielleicht nicht alle. Aber ich zumindest.

Und einige andere auch.

Als Norwegen (mein Land), die Schweiz und sogar Deutschland

nicht mehr zum Finalspiel kamen,

war bei mir die Unsicherheit gross.

Aber das Finalspiel war super,

und die Holländerinnen haben es klasse gemacht.

Ich habe eine CAS Karte für die "orangen Frauen" gebastelt.
