Location requirements

When you sign up for YouTube TV, we'll ask you to share your home zip code. We may also ask you to confirm your location via your device location permissions. Doing so will make sure you get the correct local networks. Learn more about location requirements and permissions.

Trial

New subscribers are eligible to sign up to try YouTube TV. With a trial, you get access to over 100 channels offered in the Base Plan during your trial period. You can also sign up to try extra networks, like HBO Max or Spanish Plus, before adding these to your YouTube TV membership.

Add-on networks

Some add-ons networks and packages (including Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, 4K Plus,
Entertainment Plus, and AMC+) are not available when you purchase a YouTube TV Base Plan using the Android app.

If you signed up using your Android device, and you want to purchase certain extra networks, you’ll need to first cancel your Base Plan, then sign up for YouTube TV at tv.youtube.com using a web or mobile browser.

Sign-up process

The steps below will help you sign up and customize a YouTube TV Base Plan.

Step 1: Sign up for YouTube TV

To sign up, go to tv.youtube.com on a web browser.
In the app, tap the button to begin the trial.
Sign in with your Google Account.

Step 2: Confirm your home location

When you sign up for YouTube TV, you'll be asked to share your home zip code. We may also ask you to confirm your location via your device location permissions. Doing so will make sure you get subscription to the correct local networks.

If your home zip code open incorrectly, select I don't live here and enter your home zip code.

Step 3: Customize your membership

Review the networks included in your YouTube TV Base Plan. You’ll also see the price of your membership.
- Note: Some add-ons, such as 4K Plus, Entertainment Plus, and Sports Plus, are not available when you purchase a Base Plan using the Android app.
Select Next to proceed to the next step.
Add networks to your Base Plan by clicking the circle next to a network.
Click Next when you're satisfied with your selections.
Confirm the credit card you'd like to use to pay for your membership. You won’t be charged until after your trial expires, and you can cancel at any time.
Click Buy to complete the join process.
