What is a directory submission service?
A directory submission service lists your product on web directories for you: startup launch platforms, SaaS and AI tool directories, business directories. Each listing is a page about your product on an established site, usually with a link back to yours. SubmitStorm does this by hand for startups, SaaS products, AI tools and apps: you fill in one brief, we create the accounts, fill the forms and send you proof of every submission.
How much does directory submission cost?
SubmitStorm is a one-time payment: $99 for 100 directories (Growth), $179 for 150 (Storm), $299 for 200 (Hurricane) or $499 for 300 (Typhoon), and every package grows by up to 50 more directories with the badge component. That is about $0.66 to $1.43 per directory, with proof screenshots and a report included. No subscription, no per-month fee.
Will this increase my Domain Rating?
Usually, yes, especially for newer sites starting near zero: a new domain can go from DR 0 to 20 or more, because listings on established directories are the kind of links Ahrefs counts. We can't promise a specific number: DR also depends on your existing links and how fast directories approve. You can check it any time with Ahrefs' free checker.
Do you use bots or automation?
No. A person submits every listing by hand, picks the right category and adapts your description to each directory's rules. Bot submissions get rejected or flagged, which is why so many cheap services have low approval rates.
How long does it take?
All submissions are done within 10 days on Growth, 7 on Storm and Hurricane and 10 on Typhoon, counted from the moment your brief is complete. Storm, Hurricane and Typhoon go to the front of the queue; Typhoon, the biggest package, gets a few more days. Directories then review listings on their own schedule: some publish within minutes, others take a few weeks. Your dashboard counts every submission as it lands, and the final report lists each listing with its link and proof.
Are all the links dofollow?
Nobody can honestly promise that, so we don't. Each directory decides how it links to the sites it lists and can change that at any time. We start with strong, established directories, and your report shows every listing with its link and a proof screenshot.

Each badge we find on your site adds a directory to your package, up to 50 more. We cap it at 50 on purpose, because a wall of hundreds of reciprocal links would hurt your SEO.
What kinds of products do you accept?
Startups, SaaS, AI tools, mobile apps, developer tools, newsletters, agencies, e-commerce stores and most other legit online businesses. We don't take adult content, gambling, or anything illegal or deceptive.
Can I buy again for the same site?
Yes. We keep track of every directory your site has been submitted to and never repeat one, so a second package always means new directories.
What if I'm not happy?
