It’s time! You’ve had your coffee, you’ve got your running shoes on and you are ready for action! So, here it comes. The FULL ALBUM PREMIERE for Le Poison et La Reine the new album by Swiss duo Kahfa. It releases on Friday the 26^th through Argonauta Records, but you can here it here now. We wrote a few words about it last Sunday, you can read them HERE, but what all you heavy rock enthusiasts really need to do, is press play! Kahfa Kamikaze! Let’s attack! Let’s go!

"This album is the result of a year and a half in the rehearsal room, of our need to express what is the continuation of the project born almost 4 years ago, and which led us to record a first EP which has a completely different sound from the new job. It is the realization of our continuous search for a sound, a musical genre, the strength of a strong passion. For us this first full-length is a motivation to move forward and compose music that changes according to our personal change and our vision of the world which is constantly developing. Our aim is to convey to the listener that vital force that characterizes our concerts and our approach to life. In the heart of the picturesque landscapes of the Swiss Jura, an atypical musical duo is born, bringing a breath of fresh air into the music scene. Kahfa was born in Delémont in the summer of 2020, with a clear vision: to explore new musical dimensions. Another week in the books. Another week that flew by and where we had little time to really get down and dirty for Stoner HiVe. One reason is that we had to have Greif, the new Zeal & Ardor record on repeat due to an upcoming interview with the man. No punishment at all! What a record! And when Psychlona sends their new release Warped Vision you can bet your ass we will spin that as much as possible as well. And Ruff Majik, Moth Eater won’t come out till early October, but let me state the obvious: it’s a magical rock ‘n roll battering ram once again! The new The Anomalys record Down The Hole comes out in September and it’s another high riding piece of rock! Damn, loads of good stuff arriving in the near future! But others have already arrived and we mentioned a few, like the new Starspawn of Cthulhu, expertly written by Jon McGough or the new Poste 942, Burnt Lung and Midnight Whiskey Massacre. We mentioned that wild single by The Devil's Cabana Boiz and we mentioned that we will be doing a FULL ALBUM PREMIERE by Kahfa this Wednesday! Hmmm, looking at this short screed, I guess we did not waste ever spare minute of the week passed. Let’s see if we can do better this week. Have a great one everyone!

It’s just around the corner! The FULL ALBUM PREMIERE for the new Kahfa release: Le Poison et La Reine. You’ve probably already been getting low and dirty with the first single Errance Et Dissidence. If so, be sure to check Stoner HiVe this Wednesday, cause we shall be premiering the FULL ALBUM. Out on Argonauta Records on Friday the 26th, the Swiss duo excels in delivering an offbeat groove and with those rap styled lyrics Kahfa is entirely its own animal. Stomping metal shifts color into grunge, and a punk spirit is ever present. Guitar and drums delivered in such a maniacal way, that it often feels like a sonic barrage. One that can be felt throughout and soon becomes easy to vibrate along with. Ten tracks and thirty minutes that show off Kahfa’s very own and august taste, which is eclectic, savory and with the right amount of sour to make every muscle contract and continue to bite even after many spins. Fuzz instrumental Le Trip Part III is only two minutes long, but could easily become this massive ten minute long adventure played live, taking their sound even into more cosmic space race territories. Combat De Chiens follows and blows you out of the sky with that rhythmic, stop and go, rap and rock, pistol fire vocalization and absolute wild energy. Another high mark, but so is more muddy title track Le Poison et La Reine and the absolute thundering Infernale Rorrefaction. So much to hear, so much to go absolutely  berserk to! It’s Kahfa and their full sized debut Le Poison et La Reine and you can hear it first and in full, this Wednesday on Stoner HiVe! We’re honored!

Monday Monday! Damn, a horror week of trying to get grounded, juggling quick a few things and trying to work through about a cool thousand emails and message while doing the work that pays the rent and getting groovy with some good tunes for Stoner HiVe and Doom Charts. It’s been hectic! But we’re almost settled in and will surely be soon enough, after another grueling week ahead of  us. Will need another holiday soon! Check out the ten albums above, they all kick ass and we already wrote a few words about Julie Christmas’s new record and the amazing debut by Mould. Soon, more words will arrive and we shall also continue with that Stoner Hype thing on Facebook, you know, writing a sentence or two about the Numbers 40 to 26 on the June Doom Charts… So… Soon… The show will continue!
