Mass-produced AI strike systems and Counter-UAS — 'Weapons of Mass Production'

Isengard Industries makes AI-guided precision weapons, loitering drones, combat aircraft and systems that shoot down other drones. Its pitch is unusual for a weapons company: rather than selling finished hardware, it sells the ability to manufacture — the designs, factories and processes for allied nations to build thousands of these systems on their own soil for far less than traditional contractors charge. It spans six strike systems, from short-range anti-tank weapons up to the XQ 770 combat drone, with production in the United States and Poland. Founded in 2026 and based in San Francisco with 30 employees, Isengard says it has $10M in revenue and a $350M sales pipeline across the US Army, Ukraine and allied governments. Chief executive Francisco Serra-Martins previously co-founded Terminal Autonomy and grew it to $60M in revenue; co-founder James Tennant is a former Australian Army officer who ran a defence-focused investment bank. The company has raised $500,000 across two rounds, most recently in August 2026.
Isengard's argument is that drones have become consumable ammunition, so the winning position is factory capacity rather than fancier hardware. It sells allied nations the ability to build precision-strike weapons and anti-drone interceptors inside their own borders, which fits European rearmament politics and avoids competing head-on with the big defence contractors. The strongest signal is the team: chief executive Francisco Serra-Martins already grew Terminal Autonomy to $60M in revenue selling to the US Army, NATO and Ukraine. The gap between story and proof is wide, though — only $500,000 of disclosed funding, and a sales pipeline is not signed orders.
