  Do you like to cruise?!  I'm joining the current Mix & Match challenge (use at least 2 products) at Art Impressions with a fun summer themed tag.  I started by coloring and fussy cutting an image from AI Pack Your Bags set (retired).  Hero Arts tag dies were used with the AI Cruise paper pad . A few colored gems, baker's twine and coordinating sentiment finish the card.   The current Art Impressions Challenge is to create something that is clear.  My shaker tag features the adorable AI Gull-Friends set and dies from Xcut.  I stamped the images onto X-Press It card stock, colored with copic markers and die cut. I also included images on the back of the tag.  The see through shaker tag design was inspired by Denise at The Crafty Den.  You can find her lovely design HERE .   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog with a fun mixed media tag using stash items.  My project features Di's Dog Gone Cutie Pals digital image. The digital image was water colored and fussy cut.  I've used a variety of items from my stash starting with a Gelli Print tag.  A small piece of mesh is layered onto the tag then a vintage View-Master Reel was added as a base for the cute trio.  Ribbon, wood heart, DIY enamel dot and ticket were all items laying on my craft desk.   It's been a few weeks since I have joined the Art Impressions Challenge .  The current theme in "Teeny Tiny".  My photo is somewhat deceiving since this tag is actually 3 inche x 1 inches. I stamped, colored and die cut images from the AI Dog House Cubbies set (5101) .  Only a portion of the dog house stamp was used by inking only one house and fussy cutting.  The dogs were stamped onto watercolor paper then colored with Tombow Markers. The tiny tag was in my stash.  It was made using scrap papers, adhering to card stock with Mod Podge then die cutting with various sizes of tags.  Each tag is unique and it worked great for my Tiny Project!   Time Out Challenge is celebrating their 10th Birthday this month.  Congratulations! My birthday card features products from one of the celebration sponsors - Gina K. Designs .   I began by foiling a toner card front from Unity Stamps called Floral Background using Gina K. Bubblegum Fancy Foils .  The foiled panel was then ink blended with Tim Holtz distress inks. The tag image was also heat foiled using Gina K. Designs Birthday Essentials Foil-Mates.  Two additional tags were cut for a matting and held together with pink baker's twine.  Several gems finish the card.   I'm joining the June Challenge at Beccy's Place .  Beccy generously provides a free digital image each month.  I've used the black & white version for my project.   I pulled out a stack of paper scraps this week.  After gluing them onto poster board I die cut my tag.  It created a fun and colorful background for Beccy's whimsical image.    The digital image was colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  Die cut glasses and ribbon finish the tag.   I'm excited to share a new digital set by Beccy Muir.  The Fairy Folk set includes three adorable fairies and six coordinating sentiments.  It comes with both pre-colored and black and white images for your creative projects! All three of my projects started by printing the B&W line image onto X-press It card stock and coloring with Copic Markers. I kept the first card clean and simple with only a few gems, sentiment and a coordinating lavender frame.  The finished card size is 4.5 square.  A light brushing of Wink of Stella was added to the fairy wing. Have a Magical Birthday - The colored image was die cut and layered onto Doodlebug patterned paper from my stash.  The image and sentiment were layered onto retired Stampin' Up card stock.  I finished the card with a few enamel dots and yellow Wink of Stella on the fairy wings.   I'm playing along with this week's sketch challenge.  My card features the adorable MFT Birdie Brown Sittin' Pretty and PI - All Occasion Sentiments sets. My card started with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  The door image was layered onto a mixed media tag that I received with an order.  A coordinating sentiment from the PI set finishes the card.   Have you seen the March digital release at Beccy's Place?  This is one of the new sets called Book Lovers.  It's perfect for those people in your life who enjoy books! The set includes the following; - 5 colored images - 5 black and white images - 6 sentiments. Card 1 - Center Step One for the Books.  Have you seen all of the great card tutorials on the Beccy's Place website?  I followed her Centre Step card tutorial for my first card.  The digital image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with Spellbinders rectangle die.  The image was layered onto mulberry paper and various patterned papers  from an older DCWV Violet Leaft paper pad.  I finished the card with a coordinating sentiment and rhinestones.   I'm joining this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I chose to create a tag this week featuring New Best Friend. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The mixed media tag started by using decofoil transfer gel duo and a star stencil.  Once dried I ran it through my Cuddlebug with a foil sheet.  White acrylic paint was splattered then designer papers applied.  An organdy ribbon finishes the tag.   I'm joining the current challenge at House Mouse and Friends with an older (2005) House-Mouse Designs stamp called Bursting with Excitement. I may have gone a little crazy with my tag, but it was a lot of fun!   I'm sharing a fun holiday gift tag for the current moodboard challenge at Create A Smile . I started my project with a kraft tag and randomly stamped a snowflake image.  I followed by splashing white acrylic paint with a toothbrush for a fun snowy effect. The adorable moose from CAS Nanu set was colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.  I finished with a few felt snowflakes and paper strips from Basic Grey's Jovial paper pad.
