Word Art Wednesday Challenge #579 - 580

Welcome to a new bi-weekly challenge at Word Art Wednesday !  This week our sponsor is Avery Elle. I created a mixed media bookmark this week.  I started with printing the Scripture on a Gelli print.  It was die cut with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles.  I layered the Scripture onto Stampin' Up!  Taken with Teal and Peach Parfait card stock.  Floral images from Tim Holtz were stamped onto the Gelli Print.   The completed bookmark was laminated.  Various fibers were added as a tassel to complete the project. I would like to share my card with the following:

Art Impressions Challenge: #251 Flowers

I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge - Flowers with this floral bookmark.  I started by stamping the wagon image from Art Impressions Garden Wagon Mini set .  The wagon was loosely masked with a post-it note then various floral images from the set were stamped in Memento inks.   The Scripture stamp is called Good Work by Verve.  I finished by using the Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle Large die to cut the bookmark then masking with Memento ink. As I final step I placed the bookmark in a Scotch thermal laminating pouch and ran it through my Scotch laminator.  A quick hole punch and ribbon finish the bookmark. Thanks for stopping by for a quick peek! Gina K Designs and ThermoWeb Christmas Deco Foil

I'm having fun tonight creating with my Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates and Fancy Foils.  I love the professional finish that the ThermoWeb products provide. The sentiment is from the Gina K. Holiday Cheer Foil-Mates pack.  I ran it through my Scotch brand laminator with  Gina K. Sparkling Silver Fancy Foils . I chose to use the Ornamental Holiday Foil-Mates for the card base.  It was also foiled with Sparkling Silver.  Burgandy card stock from Gina K. and silver cord from Stampin' Up! finish the card. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Catch the Bug Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes

The Bugaboo Design Team is back after our Holiday Break!  I hope everyone had a happy New Year and are ready for a crafty 2018. The first challenge of 2018 is ANYTHING GOES!  We can't wait to see what you create.  You don't have to use a Bugaboo image, but we sure love it when you do. My Fridge Magnet Clip project started with images from Bugaboo the Snowmen Block digital image.  It was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.   I recently purchased a Scotch Thermal Laminator ($20 at Wal-Mart) and decided to laminate my colored images before adhering them to the clips.  The clips were purchased (pre-colored) at Michael's for a dollar.  Finally, I adhered magnets to each clip so that it can hold notes or pictures on the refrigerator.   A quick and easy project that will be a fun gift!   Be sure to stop by Catch the Bug Challenge blog for all of the challenge details, prize...
