Mo's Digital Challenge #302 - Anything Goes with A Mo Image

I'm joining the Anything Goes Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with an older image by Mo Manning called Summer Girl.  (Sorry, it appears to be retired as I was unable to find it in the store.) My shaker card started with a pasta box --- Yep, I salvaged this ziti pasta box when I spotted the fun window on the front!! Crazy, huh?!  Well, I trimmed the cardboard to the appropriate size then layered my designer paper.  The "window" was die cut on my dp with a Spellbinder rectangle die.     I added Sprinkles Embellishments from Stampin' Up! for the shaker design.  The sweet Summer Girl digi was colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.  The sun die and sentiment are from Lil' Inkers Designs. I'm super happy with how this turned out.  I hope it brings a smile to the recipients face!  I would like to share my card with the following: Mo's Digital Challenge #302 - Anything Goes with A Mo Image Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  Anythi...

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #22 Birthday Cards

I'm joining the current Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge with a fun birthday card.  My card features the Hero Arts Airplane Fancy Die and Cloudy Sky Scene Die.   The edges of the sky die were sponged with Danube Blue Memento ink.  The Gray 3 Copic Marker was used to lightly trace around the edges of the airplane die. and color the wheel.  The card base panel is a gelli print using distress inks and water splatters. The base panel was adhered to Stampin' Up! Night of Navy Cardstock.  The Hero Arts Enjoy Your Birthday (C2770) sentiment finishes the card.      This will be mailed to a gentleman in our church who is currently working on his pilots license!  I am really pleased with how this turned out.  Thanks for the inspiration from Michelle Short!   I would like to share my card with the following: Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #22 Birthday Cards  Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes Week #487 ...

Di's Digi Challenge - Make It Monochrome

I'm joining the current Monochromatic challenge at Di's Digi.  I was inspired by Di's adorable blog inspiration to "be brave" and use shades of pink on my project.  This sweet digi was a recent freebie from Di through Kit and Clowder called Party Animal. I had so much fun coloring this image with various alcohol markers in shades of pink.  The cloudy sky was masked and sponged with distress inks.  Pink gingham from my scrap pile was used to paper piece the balloons.  A few enamel dots and birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up finish the 4.25 square card.
