Thank You Card Class

Hi everyone! Here are the final samples for my next card class at Scrapbooks and Etc. It is scheduled for Monday, October 4 at 6:00 p.m. I would love for you to join us....call Traci at 704-455-9425 and tell her to put you down. You can also go to the website above (click on it) and you can find the Basic Supplies List, which will tell you what you need to bring with you to the class. We had 11 for my Halloween card class this past Monday night and everybody had a great time, I think, making their Halloween cards.

I'm also working on a Fall/Thanksgiving card class that is scheduled for October 9 and also October 11. Traci will be sending an email to everyone registered at her store to let them know about these upcoming classes. Hope you can make it to one or both.

In November we will have another Christmas card class. This will be the final one before Christmas so you will need to get your name on the list early once we schedule it. These classes fill up fast!

Thank You Cards

Hi everyone...thanks for coming by today. I am working on some cards for a class next month. Some folks have shown an interest in a Thank You card class so I'm putting that together. I don't know yet how many of these I will use, if any, but they are some ideas at least. Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog today....hope you will find some inspiration somewhere while you are here.

Thinking of Fall

Hello & welcome...thanks for dropping by today! I hope my posts won't disappoint you....

My card today is one that I just flew by the seat of my pants while I was making it. I started out by scoring on my cardbase (you may or may not be able to see it in the photo). Then I had a piece of green scrap cardstock from a previous project so I cut it to fit inside the score lines. From there I started searching for stamps that would work in there and came up with these from Window of the World stamp set. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Fresh Cuts stamp set and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, as well and punched with the Word Window punch. I added orange pearls (they don't look very orange in the picture but they are) and it is finished.
