Out of the Box Colors

Hi everyone....hope your week is going well! Mine is much better since Tuesday! My teenage grandson was discharged from the hospital, finally...he was admitted last Saturday with pneumonia! I was so worried about him...he was a very sick boy....but they got him on the road to recovery and he was so happy to get home, and my daughter too. She had stayed around the clock even while he was in ICU, so she was exhausted to say the least.

My card today is for the sketch challenge at SCS. You can read about it HERE . It was a fun sketch to work with, I was just unsure about these colors together; but I have quite a bit of the green that you see and I thought I would try it with the yellow. I liked it once I got it together :)

Sponged Sky

I guess today is my CASEing day, lol! This is another card that I've CASEd from STAMPUNSTRESS . I loved this card and just had to try my hand at sponging the sky, which I had never attempted before, as well as masking the moon. I didn't do a very good job on the moon (didn't have any post it notes, lol) but it is what it is, as they say! Anyway, I am pleased with the overall outcome...it was a lot of fun!
