NOTHING GOING ON HERE

Hi everyone!  Well, it has been a while since I posted anything on here so I thought I would just check in.  I'm not crafting right now and haven't for quite some time.  I guess I'm just sort of "crafted" out.  Anyway, I am in the process of going through crafting supplies and seeing what I can live without.  I've already posted some on eBay and sold quite a few so far.  There is so much in my stock that it will take some time to go through it all.  I still have a good bit of Penny Black (which I still love and plan to keep some of it), House Mouse Designs, and some Our Daily Bread Designs along with a good amount of miscellaneous off brand stamps, coloring supplies, ink, embossing folders, die cuts, punches, etc.  I have a ton of pattern paper too but my cardstock is low and I have purposely let that go down.  So, I will be posting from time to time here to let you know what I still have and if anyone is interested you can find me on eBay at: carolinashoppe2014.  My prices are low and shipping is always free.  See you there hopefully!

Candy Cane Surprise

Well Hello and welcome!  I've been having loads of fun making these cute candy cane holders.  Most of them have been in red & white but I decided I wanted to get off the beaten path a little so here is something I made for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for November.  The challenge is Anything Goes or Optional Tag.  Well, I guess this could be used as a tag but I made it as a little something else to be added to to the inside of the gift.  The paper is from Penny Black Holiday Trimmings 6 x 6 Paper Pad and the sentiment is from the Penny Black Christmas Cheer stamp set.  The cardstock is a scrap that I had just laying on my table to it worked out perfect I think!

Digi Stamps from Power Poppy

Happy Friday everyone!  These are a few examples of some digi stamps from Power Poppy that I have had for a long, long time and am finally reviving them.  They are beautiful and so easy to color and turn into an inspiring card.  I have a few more I'm working on and hope to turn into a beautiful creation.  Keep checking in and I'll show you what I'm accomplishing.

Sympathy Card

Hey everyone!  Unfortunately I'm in need of a sympathy card.  Have lost two friends in the last 3 months and the sad thing is they were brother and sister.  Well, it's sad but we all must face these things sooner or later.  
The image is digi from Power Poppy and is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen.  The sentiment on the outside is from Penny Black Heartfelt Stamp Set.

Gift Card Holder

So, what do you think?  I've been playing with these gift card holders today, along with a Candy Cane holder (which isn't complete because Candy Canes aren't out in the stores yet).  But these gift cards are so easy and fast.  I saw them on  Pinterest and couldn't wait to try it.  They can also be used for cash.  I should have opened them up so you could see the inside.  I'll go back and do that and add them later.

Adornment #2

I'm back with another card using the Penny Black Adornment stamp.  I said it was my favorite stamp - hahahah!  This time I mounted the image on squares of red and gold and added clear and red rhinestones.  The greeting at the bottom is from a Penny Black Christmas Cheer collection and is perfect for this I think.  I entering this one as well in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Anything Goes.
Here is the inside sentiment, which is also a Penny Black stamp called Friends & Family.  I just received it from 1-2-3 Stitch (was able to use up my gift certificate from 1-2-3 Stitch that I won from Penny Black August Challenge.  This is a great sentiment.  Well, let me know what you think.  Thanks for looking!

Penny Black Challenge

Hello and happy Saturday everyone!  I'm busy this morning with a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is Anything Goes - optional black, white and one other color.  Well, when I use black & white together RED has to be the other color!!!  So I chose my most favorite Penny Black stamp Adornment 3996J.  I'm sure I have used this stamp more than any other stamp in my collection.  The outside greeting is also Penny Black from the Christmas Cheer  collection 30-140 and the inside sentiment is again Penny Black's Music of Christmas 2211H.  All of these were stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink.  I added Diamond Stickles to the wreath...it just makes it even more beautiful.  Well, hope you like it as much as I do.

Double Birthday

Here are a couple birthday cards I put together this morning following a card on Pinterest that I liked very much.  These will be part of the cards that I take to Mermaid Market in a few weeks.  I'm starting to get a little brain dead when it comes with dreaming up ideas so that's why I checked into Pinterest for an idea or two...hey, it worked!

Guess What?

Hello everyone!  I've got these 3 cards to show you that I have made for the Market at Holden Beach, NC.  I'm going down tomorrow and taking them in.  Most of what I'm taking are Christmas/Holiday themed but I have made some that are for birthday and general.  I have put each one, along with an envelope, in a clear plastic sleeve to keep dirty fingerprints from getting on them, hopefully.  We'll see how long that lasts, lol!  Anyway, I appreciate you checking in and hope you will leave a comment to let me know what you think!

Embossed Poinsettia

Hi everyone!  I've been busy making holiday cards for the market I told you about in a previous post.  These especially turned out nice, I think.  I added some tiny adhesive stones to the centers of the poinsettia and it goes from plain to WOW!  I've made a set of 12 and also a set of 6 complete with envelopes.  I'll take them down to the market next month just in time for the folks to begin a little holiday shopping.  Thanks for stopping in today.

Here I am again...in the holiday spirit this week.  I love this snowman stamp.  I'm entering this one in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Once again a Penny Black called Snowy.  He is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen.  The greeting is also Penny Black from the Christmas Cheer set.  I added the snowflake embossing for extra interest.  I like it a lot - how about you?  Thanks again for looking.

Hi everyone!  I've been away on a mini-vacation to the beach and I just got back this morning.  I just had to jump in and get a few cards started.  This one is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for September.  I am thrilled to tell you that I won the August Challenge and will be getting a gift certificate to 1-2-3 Stitch to buy more Penny Black merchandise.  So this image is Penny Black Leaping Deer and I stamped it in Memento Rhubarb Stalk.  The greeting is also Penny Black from the Christmas Cheer stamp set.  As always, I kept it clean and simple with a few added rhinestones in the corners.  Thanks for popping in today.  Hope you like what you find here.

Fun Cards

I'm back with more of the "beachy" cards from my previous post.  These were fun and I hope the folks at Mermaid Market like them.  The Mermaid card has Stickles on the mermaid but it doesn't show very well in the picture.  It is striking in person though.  I am overly pleased with that one :)

Fun Beachy Cards

Well, I've been busy as you can see.  While at the beach last week I came across a neat boutique style market in Holden Beach, NC called Mermaid Market.  They stock handmade crafts from local crafters as well as from other parts of North Carolina/South Carolina.  I asked if they would be interested in handmade greeting cards and they seemed excited at the prospect.  I agreed to make up some for them to see and bring them down next time I come.  These are the ones I have finished; but I have several more to complete.  I tried to keep the "beachy" theme for now but may try some holiday cards just so they can see what I have available.
