Neara
Neara is a high-growth, venture-backed, Series-C tech company headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Recognised as one of the Times 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024, our vision is to change how the world operates, builds, and designs critical infrastructure. Our mission is to revolutionise the utilities industry with our 3D digital network model, enabling utilities to future-proof their infrastructure and navigate the clean energy transition.
As a Senior Data Scientist at Neara you’ll contribute to the organisation becoming more data driven by diving into the problem spaces, defining key metrics, gathering data, building rigorous statistical models to help derive insights and trends. You will then effectively communicate these results to the organisation to in order to drive product and engineering direction and prioritisation.
For example, you will work with the digitisation team to derive insights such as process bottlenecks, outlier detection and root causes, correctness of outputs, forecasting completion timeframes, attributing changes in tools/ai models to downstream business metrics, and experimental analysis on new models.
This scope of your impact will be organisation-wide with similar insights required in the sales pipeline, customer interactions with the application and even working with clients to provide similar insights into their own networks modelled by Neara.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Extending data literacy across the organisation through your ownership of org metrics and creating intuitive ways to display this information for the organisation.
