As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
We’re seeking a talented Senior Digital Designer (web and UX/UI) to join Canva's Brand Experience team on a six-month contract. You'll design immersive landing pages and microsites for Canva Create 2025—our flagship global event showcasing exciting new features and product innovation.
In this fast-paced role, you'll collaborate with Program Managers, Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Events to deliver captivating brand experiences. If you're a creative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments, this is your chance to shape Canva's most high-profile initiative.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Collaborating with designers, copywriters, and stakeholders to create interactive landing pages and microsites for event registration, attendance, and post-event content.
- Driving projects from concept to execution, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Designing presentation deliverables for stakeholders.
- Partnering with Brand Designers to translate event branding into scalable digital experiences.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to guide design decisions and ensure effectiveness.
- Participating in end-to-end delivery, supporting engineers during build and QA phases to maintain design quality throughout delivery.
- Applying design thinking at scale, ensuring your work is consistent with Canva’s design systems and scalable for multiple use cases.
You're probably a match if you have
- Proven UX/UI Design Expertise: Hands-on experience in end-to-end digital design, including research, wireframes, prototyping, visual design, and implementation.
- Landing Page & Web Design Experience: A deep understanding of user behaviour and the ability to create engaging designs that drive conversions.

- A Data-Informed Design Approach: Comfortable using data, A/B testing, and user insights to guide design decisions and optimise user experiences.
- Creative and Brand-Aligned Thinking: Skilled at working within brand guidelines while delivering visually compelling, on-brand designs.
- Scalable Design Expertise: Experience designing for scalable systems, including CMS integration, localisation, and accessibility.
- Engineering Literacy: Familiarity with working closely with engineers, documenting designs clearly, and supporting seamless implementation.
- Bonus Points for Motion Design: Skills in animation or prototyping to bring designs to life and elevate user interactions are a plus but not required.
