MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Myra wakes up terribly sick on the first day of school, and she can’t understand why she is so sick and not getting well. Myra will learn that there are little warriors in her body called immune cells that are fighting off the sickness in her body.
This is an adorable little book that teaches little ones a bit of science in a neat way. While reading and listening to this book, children will hear about the immune system and how it works in our body fighting off sickness, keeping us well.
Maya’s Tiny Warriors by Manasi Vegesna is such a sweet and helpful book for your child. I think they will enjoy knowing what is happening in their little bodies when they are sick. This wonderful book wouldn’t be the beautiful book it is without the amazing illustrations by the illustrator, Sharifa Patrick. Sharia does an fabulous job with the adorable illustrations that will sure have children wanting to read and look at this book over and over. The characters are so cute and the bright vivid colors are just amazing. This is a book I highly recommend for your child’s library. And with Christmas coming soon, this would be an amazing gift for your young child’s classroom. There are so many ways to spread the word about this book, and I sure hope you will do so. I am giving Maya’s Tiny Warriors by Manasi Vegesna Five Stars.
