About Bluesky
Bluesky is social media as it should be. Find your community among millions of users, unleash your creativity, and have some fun again. Stay focused on your friend group, keep up-to-date on the latest news, or explore with an algorithm that learns what you like. On Bluesky, there's a feed for that. Use powerful moderation lists, content filters, and more to control what ends up in your timeline. In the future, people and organizations will be able to use open tools to contribute even more directly to moderation.
The web. Email. RSS feeds. XMPP chats. What all these technologies had in common is they allowed people to freely interact and create content, without a single intermediary. We‘re building the AT Protocol, a new foundation for social networking which gives creators independence from platforms, developers the freedom to build, and users a choice in their experience.

"Not good" Posted 2025-02-09
Pros: Their support team was pretty helpful when I had issues with my username. Other than that there unfortunately wasn't much good.
Cons: It was hard to use, not very intuitive, horrible features, and quiet the echo-chamber of radical extremism. It reminded me of a left-wing truth social, but even that cesspit didn't have as much extremism.
Overall it wants to be Twitter, but fails.Overall: Overall I could not recommend this in good conscious to anyone but the most ultra-left caricature of people.

The ease of use sucks, the features are limited, and the design is messy.
The echo-chamber created by the flight of ultra left-wing users from Twitter has further degenerated the quality of the website into what I can only describe as a toxic cesspit.
I have, unfortunately, been driven back to Twitter as a result. Hopefully these people will lose interest in Bluesky so we can return to the ecosystem before their mass migration. -

"Familiar platform, easy to use" Posted 2024-04-13
Pros: Quite a few people have moved over from twitterX with their usernames intact. The app provides the ability to follow and provides notifications.
Cons: Platform is still growing, and could a little more humph to suggest users with similar interests.
Overall: Overall, I'm positive that this app could grow to be everything the Twit was not able to be. I like the design and interface.
