Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Gave me the overview I needed for my SaaS licenses and usage. It automatically detects all SaaS usage.
  • Simple to get started and quick return on that investment. Cut costs of unused subscriptions and structure our offboarding process so we know which services to cancel when an employee leaves.
  • I love being able to understand what everybody is using without asking around as I had to do before.
  • I really like that it allows me to have the rest of the team working with me to keep an updated overview of all our subscriptions and user licenses.
  • Substly has made the offboarding of employees and consultants much easier for us. We got a much better control over subscriptions due to Substly's software. We save both time and money.

Cons

  • I would have liked to be able to track desktop usage as well, but it's not a deal-breaker as most of tools are SaaS.
  • Takes a few hours to get your data together to populate the system initially.
  • For my needs, it is spot on. All the features I need are included in the package.
  • Earlier I lacked some automation but with the updated integration to Google Workspace that was launched recently there is nothing I dislike.
  • Didn’t know what to expect from such a product but so far there isn’t much to complain about.
