Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros In my work we currently implement Vembu for our customers, and Vembu has greatly improved the level of security for our consumers in general. It is fast, easy to use and has attributes that most exceptional backup solutions also have no major difficulties in using. We and our customers are very happy with Vembu. Cons After a vembu web server is synchronized with an online account and, for one reason or another, the administrator's requirements to synchronize the server with an additional online account, the administrator has only a few options. It uninstalls and reinstalls the product to change the web server id and synchronizes with an online account or has a technology support to manually transform it into the data source for them. The other option is not saved, so most of the time, administrators will certainly just uninstall and reinstall, which is often turbulent. The recovery of the vembu web server is complex and would also require an administrator in deep knowledge of how to recover the server.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Years ago (20+) we installed a lot of machinery in our plant that required multiple servers to run. We still run on the same setup today. We did virtualized our environment and maintained the same server/software solution. We started using Unitrends after we virtualized about 12 years ago. Data doesn't change much with these servers but occasionally we do have issues and Unitrends has allowed us to quickly roll back a snapshot and keep on trucking. Easy to setup, easy to maintain, easy to change as our needs change. Very flexible to cover all of our backup needs. Ease of use, support response time, ability to backup using VMWare, HyperV, Windows, Linux, and other type of systems. WebUI is logical and simple to understand. Unitrends Forever Cloud is an amazing solution when immutable offsite backups are needed. I love their support cause I can count on them when I am not able to figure an issue. Their software is easy to use and we are able to manage it with no issues 99% of times. Quick, easy to use, great customer support, the communication from the support team has been awesome. Cons Have to update the appliance hardware about every 3 years. No cons really. We really like this solution a lot. There isn't a lot about Unitrends Recovery Systems that I don't like, in fact, there isn't anything at all! Sometimes when a big update happens, it takes time to figure where the tools are and how to figure it out again. I wish I could could think of one, but at the present time, I can’t.
