Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Ease of use, comprehensive features, real time - multi user, Sherpa assistance, good R&D and good customer service. AI Field Management makes it quite easy to manage my contractors and The Sherpa function is a big help when trying to figure out which of my workers should be sent out on which job. I really like the Sherpa feature! It makes choosing the best person for the job far easier. Also, the use of a worker app for my employees has made tracking much simpler. The software is fast, reliable and secure, which is exactly what you want in this type of product. Particularly like the translation and GPS features and how the GPS works in real time without killing your device. Cons The logo and theme could use some touch ups, not catchy. There is a steady stream of updates to fix most problems. This being said, some specific new features are not added as fast as I would like. I feared that the company would try to sell me something I didn’t need, but frankly I find that their team (Jim specifically) was very communicative and maintained the same goal as me: to help my business move smoothly. I liked how everything is organized in one place, from scheduling to invoicing. The interface is simple, so even new users can understand it quickly. It helped save time and reduced manual work a lot. What I like most about Field Promax is how it brings everything into one system. Scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer tracking are all easy to manage without switching between tools. The mobile app works well for our technicians to update job details and collect signatures on-site. The QuickBooks integration is also a big plus for handling billing. I’ve been on Field Promax for around 2 years now. It honestly helped me move away from writing everything down and constantly calling my guys for updates. I can assign jobs, check progress, and send invoices without much hassle. My crew didn’t take long to get used to it, which was a big relief. Cons The interface feels a bit outdated, and it can take some time to get used to all the features. There are moments where the system lags slightly, especially when handling multiple jobs, and some workflows could be more intuitive. The mobile app performance can sometimes lag during peak usage, which affects technicians on-site. Reporting features are somewhat limited if you're looking for deeper business insights, and the initial setup takes some time to configure properly for specific workflows. Sometimes the mobile app feels a bit slow, and a few features take time to load. Also, initial setup needs some patience. The interface could be more modern, and it takes some time to get fully comfortable with all the features. Occasionally, it feels a bit slow when managing multiple jobs at once. There’s a bit of a learning curve with some features, and I’d like to see more flexibility in reports over time.
