  • I also only created a profile to write this review - and to say: THANKS! Great tool that helped me a lot.

  • Made an account just to thank you! Exactly what I've been looking for and works perfectly!

  • Realy easy to use software. Can change profile with only 2 clicks Only feature that could be added is scaling setting.
  • This is EXACTLY what I've been needing. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Simple, easy to use, out-of-the-way tray GUI with hot key functionality makes creating and switching between multi-monitor configurations a breeze. Previously used Display Fusion which is bloated, finicky. and never really gave me the seamless experience I've been searching for. Thank you so much!
  • Total game changer, especially if you have a home cinema/ harmony remote so you don't even need a key board to activate the short cuts. As others have said it is a ridiculous omission from Windows 10. One thing to be careful of is that you need to keep the icon on the desktop otherwise it stops working. I changed the icon in properties with a triple screen icon and i am happy with it there. I can't tell you the trouble i used to have mixing a triple screen setup with a 4k big screen! I now run 5 screens (not all at once) and i can switch between them all seamlessly. Windows also learns which sound output relates to which screen is playing so it changes the sounds at the same time. Sweeeeeeeeet!
  • I've been looking for a program like this for over 3 years! I can't believe Windows 10 doesn't offer an option other than 'PC Screen only' and 'Second screen Only' I have a main monitor (1080p @144hz) a TV 4K @60hz and a Projector 1080 @60hz. I wanted to switch between these devices without having to use the duplicate or extend option which causes issues because of the different resolutions and refreshes rates. I also tried buying a HDMI switch which ended not working with HDMI 2.0 or supporting HDR, it also gave me flickering issues. After that I lost hope and I thought I would have to just disconnect and connect the displays each time I needed to use one (TV or Projector) then I found this program and everything got solved finally! I use now 4 hot keys: Ctrl+1 for Main Monitor only Ctrl+2 for TV only Ctrl+3 for Projector only Ctrl+4 for Main Monitor + TV (extended mode) I loved so much this program that I sent a small donation to the creator after 10min of trying it. Thank you martink84!
  • Perfect! I'd been hacking something together with Autohotkey and it never really worked. This is excellent. Small, portable and it works! It's not feature rich (like being able to rename profiles) but meh, everything else about it is great!
  • I really needed this! I've got 3 separate monitor setups and standard "Win+P" just wouldn't cut it for me. There are 3 monitors in my cave (terminal 1), then I have 1 monitor in my bedroom (terminal 2) and 1 TV (terminal 3). Each terminal with its own mouse & keyboard. I just couldn't figure out how to switch between them easily and now I can. This should be a standard feature of the OS... Donation sent!

  • Was looking for a powershell script to flip my monitors and found this and glad I did, this an awesome program just what I needed, worth donating to.
  • I have been looking for this exact software for some time! I have 3 monitors. Sometimes I run the tv on my left monitor, but to do that I have to go into display options and disable the monitor for the PC connection. An absolute pain. This is now so easy with just one click! Thanks, and well done! I have donated 8 euros for your efforts. Andy Carr
  • I am so happy that i found this tool!! This is exactly what i was looking for. Doing stuff like this with Windows is really a pain in the a**. For users who occasionally use drawing tablets or TV's this is the thing. Thanks a lot for providing this
  • Love it! Very handy for when I use Parsec on a remote machine with only one monitor, while the host has two. It seems to also remember the refresh rate of the different presets (144hz for dual, 60hz for single over Parsec), but that might be a Windows behavior. The app would be absolutely perfect for me if it had the option to include desktop scaling values in the preset!
  • Love this program. Bet it's getting a lot more attention now with everyone stuck at home, :). Switching from my Monitors to my TV has never been easier. Thanks for making this!
  • I have 3 monitors and 7 inputs connected to them, so I frequently switch the monitors on my computer With this program, I can create profiles to select which monitors to use and which monitor to select as the main display. That is all I need, and it works fine. The icon in the taskbar makes it very convenient, too.
  • Was absolutely sick of turning off 5 screens one-by-one when wanting to use just the TV or projector across the house, no more losing windows on screens I'm nowhere near. Doesn't help you can't simply right-click a program on the taskbar anymore and get it's main context menu (to be able to move the Window) and alt-space > m doesn't always work perfect either.. And Nvidia drivers, while decently stable, have dropped a lot of features over the years in place of simplicity. I'm not entirely sure if nView could do exactly this; I tried to get it working but no-go w/out Quadro (even forced it's install) .. But.. this tool is all I really needed; works perfect; I had literally been considering writing a tool like this for a bit and a quick google didn't show much, was actually recommended on a SO post.
  • Like another use, I created a SourceForge profile just to rate this! Amazing and amazingly simple software and now I can switch seamlessly between resolutions and my multiple monitor scenarios. Thank you so much! Windows 10's built in configuration is so limited and cumbersome, but this was exactly what I was looking for.

  • I created an account on this website just to rate this program. It is AMAZING! I'm able to switch - I use Windows 10 - between all of my monitor configurations instantaneously. The hot key function is amazing. Highly rated. Thank you for this program. Rick
  • Have been looking for a commerical solution for my use case for months. Thank you Martin! Excellent work. Seamless, easy to setup/use, works exceptionally well.
  • So fast, so small. Enables me to quickly reduce my setup to 2 displays. (shame on Adobe for being unable to configure lightroom for multiple screens). Thanks, this seems to good to be true!
  • This is one of the most amazing things for my Multi-Monitor setup. I have 3 monitors on my desk and a 4k TV mounted on the wall behind the monitors. I was just hoping I would be able to find a way to set different profiles that I could quickly switch between! THIS IS THE DREAM ADD-ON, it works seamlessly... You manually set your monitors a certain way, then you just save it as a preset. I absolutely love this app, it's a super simple concept, but it's EXTREMELY useful regardless.
  • perfect! Was excatly what i was looking for. Thank you very much!

  • It really just works! Free, simple, fast and lightweight. The only thing that could've been improved is the fact that when you open GUI only a tray appears so first I thought it was broken bc nothing popped up!

  • Sorry that my paragraph and bullet point spacing got removed when I posted this - making it hard to read my detailed review. Installing this was the most productive 90 seconds I've spent on IT stuff. I've registered & donated - which I don't often do. Fixed all the multiple issues with my 6-monitor set-up and works flawlessly with very fast switching. In case it helps anyone else this is how it helped me: I have 6 x Dell 2K monitors connected at home for 3 different use cases: Single monitor - daily use - used 75% of the time. 3 x array at desktop level in a curve - comfortable to use, 6K width for more space - used 20% of the time. 6 x array - 3 desktop level, 2 high level & 1 x 90-degree side monitor - used for heavy testing, monitoring & a bit of investing etc - used 5% of the time - neck muscle strain permitting. The annoying problems that I had - 1. The complex layout for the 6 monitors precisely matches their physical location - so not practical at all to routinely edit this layout in Display Settings. 2. Monitors are connected to 4 graphics card ports via 1xHDMi, 1xDVI & 4xDP (with some daisy-chaining via the Dell DP1.2 MST enabled monitors). Powering-off unused monitors behaved differently depending on the connection. The HDMI and DVI "connections" always persisted even when off - leaving a blank invisible monitor wide space to traverse with the mouse - very impractical. 3. Powering off a DP monitor did remove it from the layout (and anything downstream of its DP1.2 MST link). But this also "broke" the physical layout for the remaining monitors - in my case for 3 remaining at desktop level. So, for example, to drag a window to my left monitor, I had to move the mouse in the opposite direction to the right and over the "invisible" powered off HDMI monitor to finally get to the left one and then reverse this weird action to get the mouse back to the centre one. Very inconvenient - which put me off routinely using the 3-monitor set-up. 4. Final problem - as mentioned just powering off monitors didn't always remove them - so for my single monitor use - my mouse would often disappear into the black abyss at the left and right screen boundaries - very annoying. All of these problems are fixed with this tool. This tool not only saves the monitor state (disabled, extended, mirror etc) and resolutions, but most importantly for me - each profile saves the exact physical layout - hence I now easily switch bwetween 3 profiles - single monitor, 3 side-by-side and the complex 6 monitor array. Switching between these profiles is very fast and there is also not the usual time-wasting "do you want keep these display setting - reverting to previous settings in 15 seconds" pop-up. My professional graphics card uses "Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise" rather than the usual Catalyst drivers. This is supposed to be optimised for stability and ease of use for professional high-end workstations and multi-monitor use. It's surprising to me that the "AMD Multi-Display Eyefinity Technology" doesn't do what this Monitor Profile Switcher tool does. Perfect software - highly recommended.

  • Great tool. Simply does what it's supposed do. Nothing more, nothing less. Even works on Windows 10 :)

  • Amazing piece of software! Very easy to use and quick to set up (look at the Wiki section for setup instructions). I had all of my profiles set up within a few minutes! You can even set hotkeys for each which is extremely convenient. (I used Ctrl+Shift+Alt+1, Ctrl+Shift+Alt+2, etc.) I have just donated to say thanks, because it's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for making it! :-D
