<p>Firstly, let me express my sorrow at the loss of Peter. My sympathies to<br />
his family.</p>
<p>I'm using srec 1.63 under Cygwin on Windows 7. I'm building a flash<br />
image for a MSP430 processor consisting of 3 parts: a boot loader, an<br />
application, and a serial number. The first two come from the output of<br />
the compiler/linker. The serial number needs to be generated as part of<br />
the flash programming. I have a shell script that does the image build<br />
and flash programming. It takes a command line argument of the serial<br />
number. The command that gets executed looks like:</p>

correct. If I reorder the parameters to:</p>

works correctly.</p>
