I have a 2 in1 laptop without numpad inbuilt. And decided to go with it . Purpose to use - Calculator app and Excel App. When i use Numpad emulator over these apps , It just acts as if a separate third party app and doesnt focus on inputting in the textbox like a physical keyboard. Whereas Windows OSK wors seamlessly but not customisable at all . Is there any way to solve this issue ? Example: If i input a number in excel cell with Numpad emulator , It doesnt input it always and windows focuses on...

Is there an option to load different numpad's on page load - i.e. Number only on one and switch to characters only on another page - also is there a manual to show how to make new configs - cheers Colin

When I am using my surface on the road with excel... sometimes it stops working... keypresses do nothing. I have found that if you go into the hidden icons on the task bar and reselect numbpad - it starts working again. Hoping I do not jinx it by stating this here.

Hi All I am trying to add Greek letters and some math symbols to NumPad Emulator so that I can use them in Teams when giving feedback to students. Some symbols from Character Map are working fine but many are not. For example, in the attached image, of the superscript numbers on the lefthand side, only ¹, ² and ³ work. When I am home and online, this app works great with excel for an office 365 excel... howevery, when I am away with no internet... it pops up but will not enter numbers or the keys will do nothing. .i.e. will not delete cells, move the cursor or enter data. I thought I had found the holy grail for data entry on the road. So close, but not working. Is there a need to have internet access to use this numpad? Am I doing something wrong? Surface pro 4, windows 11. Latest excel as of 10/20/24.

Alt codes simply don't work for me (error with windows not this) so I've had to resort to making custom autocorrect options. This program can type the text string being replaced by autocorrect and when using alt codes it can display the character that gets inserted. Running the latest version of Win10 21H1, if I install this app and run it then it can't be closed, the X in the top right corner just minimizes it to the task bar.

I would like to use this numpad with a software the recognizes the + & - keys of the main keyboard (i.e. -or_ and =or+) differently from the + and - keys of the numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard. These each send different "scan codes" similar to the way your software currently can send individual letters or the a/A key. Is it possible to do the same with the +/- keys on the keyboard and numeric keypad in the numpad emulator?

Hi, I use Numpad on a Windows 10 computer. It does a great job! The problem is: the computer is powered by some small UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). In case of power outage the computer should be shutdown automatically after 10 minutes. Numpad prevents this shutdown and so the UPS will run empty. Is there some way to force shutdown of Numpad? Hy, i use Numpad on SurfacePro and it's a great app. Just one thing cause trouble to my users, if they do not close the app before to shutdown the tablet, Numpad blocks the shudown of Windows. Is there a way to automatically shutdown numpad when the OS is shuting down ? Matthias
