release is much closer to being truly portable than was 0.1

Changes needed to compile on Solaris:

In netmap-0.1.1/netmap/Makefile, change line 8 to read:

LDFLAGS   = ../belgolib/belgolib.a -L /usr/local/lib -lnsl

There's some issues with the use of 'unsigned char' for IP addresses in hostclass.c, there is
probably a more elegant way to resolve this, I made the following changes:

< static void transform_ip(const string& ip, unsigned char result[4])
---
> static void transform_ip(const string& ip, char result[4])
44c44
<     unsigned char res_ip[4];
---
>     char res_ip[4];

One final suggestion:

It would be very helpful to include 'ChangeLog' and 'TODO' files in the distribution.

Thanks,
