Version 0.120 of ModWorm has been released. This release adds network play support (quite buggy though) and the usual bug fixes and small feature enhancements (like per-level objects).
This will probably be the last version of ModWorm since I have abandoned the project. I'm sorry for making a release earlier, but I've been busy with other stuff (and then ModWorm really needed some polish so maybe the delay was a good thing anyway ;) ).... read more
I've released version 0.110 now. The settings can be saved now, some bugs (jumping bug, missing Z order code, same name bug, dirty rectangles bug, and a few more) have been fixed and two weapons have been added (ElectroBall and Ice Beam).
Version 0.100 contains a working menu, two new weapons and lot of bugs have been fixed. The Windows version contains the DLLs now.
Version 0.090 is the first playable version of ModWorm. A _lot_ of new stuff has been added (that's why I skipped some version numbers).
Have a look at the changelog for more information!
This version contains both a windows and linux binary + the source.
ModWorm 0.003 has been released. Some of the new features in this version are: Crosshair support, explosions, attached objects, very basic "action" support, and most the important: animation support.
Things to do in the future versions:
* Weapon support
* Dynamic objects (health bars/counters/etc.)
* Object spawning
* More...
I wont release v. 0.003 today because I'm going to add more features before I release it. I'm going to release it one week later - the 16th November.
Currently I've implemented crosshair support, basic action/scripting support, explosion support and more. I'll program the animation engine before I release it.
ModWorm version 0.002 has been released! This version supports vertical scrolling, tiled backgrounds, has better physics and more. For more information please read the changelog.
