Instead, I always have to open the Ditto window after copying, and manually select the top clip. In other words, Ditto does not write the script result to the system clipboard ready to paste, it only adds it to the top of the list of stored clips. Somehow the clip that I have been editing since forever has Rich Text Format among its copy formats. I delete that, leaving only the CF_UNICODETEXT format, and now when editing Ditto brings up the clip in Notepad.
