Hive Toolkit Module [ GIS (Codex) ] 2.5 Changes --------------------------------------------------------------------- - Updated custom fields processing on the per-record entry mode. - Integrated new GIS Interface cms plugin object, which in the future will depreciate the simple gis search object. - Updated installer to have the ability to install the GIS application with the framework packaged together. - Resolved dialog control issue with confirmation dialogs not dissapearing until post-call. - Updated google maps library to a new processors core library to provide ground for other map processors. - Resolved icon off-set issue with the record rendering. - Fixed bug in the entry interface. - Updated the home gis application to use a different interface for published records. - Gave user the ability to unpublish self records.

Hive Toolkit Module [ GIS (Codex) ] 2.4 Changes - Updated the search object to automatically select "All Categories" on render. - Custom fields were not properly showing up in the map window (Specific to GoogleMaps), updated the info bubble to render custom fields properly. - Updated menu to simply just GIS option. Remove projects category. - Fixed bug in new category entry to create the field with the selected icon. - When removing a category system notification was defaulting to "Category Created", updated status to display proper action. - Added new item button to the gis database interface in addition to the home page entry interface. - Unpublished entries were not properly showing up in the unpublished queue for users. - Updated the new entry actions to automatically open the entry edit features after a GIS entry is added to the database.

Codex mapping system utilizes the Hive Toolkit frame-work. It is designed and meant to be easily installed on a 64bit LAMP server. Dependencies are ** xrender libs for newer ubuntu systems ** sudo aptitude install openssl build-essential xorg libssl-dev libxrender-dev ** zip / unzip ** sudo aptitude install zip once the dependencies are taken care of you may simply install the app by: wget http://universe.hivetoolkit.com/build/install (This url will compile and send you the latest build and revision of the core/CMS framework) unzip install ** permissions ** on some systems folders created by users cannot be deleted by the www-data group, so it might be necessary to change the permissions of the setup/ folder to 777 previous to install. To install hive toolkit on a server with ssh access... wget http://universe.hivetoolkit.com/build/install unzip install then http://yoururl/setup to run the setup script.

Newer UBUNTU installations have dependencies that must be resolved to be able to complete a full install. sudo aptitude install openssl build-essential xorg libssl-dev libxrender-dev sudo aptitude install zip
