    Action! Programming Language

    Action! Programming Language

Action! - The Native Programming Language for Atari 8-bit Computers

Action! is a programming language for the Atari 8-bit family of microcomputers. It features an integrated editor, a debugger, and a 6502 compiler. Action! was created by Clinton Parker and released on cartridge by Optimized Systems Software (OSS) in 1983. Its syntax is similar to that of ALGOL 68.  Action! is significant for its high performance, which allows games and graphics demos to be written in a high-level language without the use of hand-written assembly language code. Pascal NUCLEUS (GUI/VM)

    Pascal NUCLEUS (GUI/VM)

Portable Pascal GUI Library for Atari ST/TT/MSDOS

NOTE: As of r816, Nucleus source code is licensed under GPLv3. (8th Oct 2017) Nu|cleus [ˈnjuːklɪəs] - The central and most important part of an object, movement, or group, forming the basis for its activity and growth. This is yet another long-term project (YALP?). The aim is to write a portable GUI/OS for Atari ST, Amiga and DOS. The code must be small, fast and support modern GUI features. ie: Embedded component controls. The code current compiles with Highspeed Pascal (Atari ST) or FreePascal. I hope to have it compiling for the Amiga (also using Highspeed Pascal), and supporting a built in p-code compiler/interpreter for cross platform development.

    MPL Bytecode Compiler

    MPL Bytecode Compiler

Micro Programming Language - A Portable Language for Micro Computers

NEWS: The MPL language is now completely defined. No more language changes are to be made. The compiler is complete and should be easy to translate to other languages if you so choose. MPL is a small, simple language based on BCPL, B, C and Jesusonic. The compiler and interpreter are written in portable Pascal. I have successfully compiled MPL for CP/M, DOS, Windows, Atari ST, Amiga and the Tandy Colour Computer. MPL is designed to be tiny in every way, while implementing all the important features of BCPL & B. The result is a compiler written in a high level language (PASCAL) which compiles to under 16K (CP/M). ...
