    Gravity Simulator

    Gravity Simulator

Multithreaded N-Point Gravity Simulation for PC and Android

Create a sun, spin some asteroids around it, and watch them collide and form planets. An N-Point Gravity Simulator is a realistic simulation in which all points attract each other: even the smallest asteroid has its own gravitational field that can affect even a large sun far away from it. Can be reused as a library for making games. If used as library, license is GNU LGPLv3, otherwise it's GNU GPLv3.

    J2ObjC

    J2ObjC

A Java to iOS Objective-C translation tool and runtime

J2ObjC is an open-source command-line tool from Google that translates Java source code to Objective-C for the iOS (iPhone/iPad) platform. This tool enables Java source to be part of an iOS application's build, as no editing of the generated files is necessary. The goal is to write an app's non-UI code (such as application logic and data models) in Java, which is then shared by web apps (using GWT), Android apps, and iOS apps. J2ObjC supports most Java language and runtime features required by client-side application developers, including exceptions, inner and anonymous classes, generic types, threads and reflection. JUnit test translation and execution is also supported. J2ObjC cannot convert Android binary applications. Developers must have source code for their Android app, which they either own or are licensed to use.

    glSatellite Demo

Technological demo of OpenGL ES 2 Android NDK

Technological demo of OpenGL ES 2 for Android platform. It reads public NORAD satellite database and shows the satellite positions and altitude related to Earth in the form of beams (the height of the beam represents the relative altitude). NOTE: The project has been moved to GitHub: https://github.com/nuald/glSatellite-Demo The old one stays here just for the historical reasons. The 3D features present: - OpenGL ES 2; - rotating, multi-touch zooming and moving the globe; - stars on a fixed background; - each satellite is represented by a beam with a unique color; - identifying the corresponding satellite if a beam has been tapped (based on color picking method). Additionally to 3D features presented the application is: - using NDK with C++11 features compiled by LLVM clang; - mixing Java views with OpenGL views (Java is used for settings activity, information and ads panels); - using Android custom message queue to send asynchronous messages from Java to JNI
