The simulation platform supports flexible specification of sensor suites, environmental conditions, full control of all static and dynamic actors, maps generation and much more. Multiple clients in the same or in different nodes can control different actors. CARLA exposes a powerful API that allows users to control all aspects related to the simulation, including traffic generation, pedestrian behaviors, weathers, sensors, and much more. Users can configure diverse sensor suites including LIDARs, multiple cameras, depth sensors and GPS among others. Users can easily create their own maps following the OpenDrive standard via tools like RoadRunner.

    OpenLoco

    OpenLoco

An open source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion

An open source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion. A construction and management simulation video game that simulates running a transport company. OpenLoco is an open-source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion (CSL), the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. OpenLoco aims to improve the game similar to how OpenTTD improved Transport Tycoon, and OpenRCT2 improved RollerCoaster Tycoon. CSL was originally written in x86 assembly, building on top of the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 engine. However, the engine has changed substantially enough that OpenLoco currently does not share its codebase with OpenRCT2. The reimplementation efforts of OpenLoco are gradual, aiming to ultimately rewrite the entire game in C++. In the earlier years of the project, the in-game UI has been completely reimplemented, and most of the underlying data and object structures have been uncovered. Recent efforts have focussed on reimplementing the game (command) logic.

    caesar-lisflood

    caesar-lisflood

    CAESAR-Lisflood landscape evolution model

Caesar Lisflood is a geomorphological / Landscape evolution model that combines the Lisflood-FP 2d hydrodynamic flow model (Bates et al, 2010) with the CAESAR geomorphic model to simulate erosion and deposition in river catchments and reaches over time scales from hours to 1000's of years. These sourceforge pages provide downloads of the .exe and the source code for CAESAR-lisflood and instructions and additional documentation can be found in the Wiki tab. These include a full description of all the parameters used in CAESAR, instruction videos and other information. Discussion and support can be found here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/caesar-lisflood

    Vital Sign Simulator

    Vital Sign Simulator

Patient vital sign simulator for medical emergency training purposes

The vital sign simulator simulates a patient monitor and is intended for use in medical emergency training simulations. In combination with a (cheap) cpr-manikin, it offers a low-cost alternative to commercial high-tech patient simulation manikins. It is used with a dual monitor system, one monitor with controls for the operator and one providing the vital signs to the trainees. Heart rate, oxygen saturation, etCO2, respiratory rate, blood pressure and various moving ecg-samples can be set and changed at any time by the operator. The trainee-side interface allows automatic/manual defibrillation, cardioversion and pacing.

    MIST

    MIST

A MATLAB toolbox to simulate optical systems

Modal Interferometer Simulation Tool (MIST) is a MATLAB toolbox that can simulate arbitrary resonant optical systems in the paraxial beam approximation. It allows the user to define any optical setup (composed typically of laser sources, mirrors, lenses, electro-optical modulators and detectors) and to compute the static laser field at any point. It uses a Hermite-Gauss modal decomposition to simulate diffraction limited optics. This tool is being developed mainly for simulation of large scale interferometers with resonant cavities used for the detection of gravitational waves. Subscribe to the mailing list for updates and news. If you use MIST in your own simulation work, please cite is as G. Vajente, "Fast modal simulation of paraxial optical systems: the MIST open source toolbox" Classical and Quantum Gravity 30, 075014 (2013)
