ILA stands for (kind of) intelligent, learning assistant and is a speech recognition system aka voice assistant very similar to Siri, Google Now and Cortana. ILA is fully customizable and you can teach her/him/it new things by yourself like executing system commands, opening web pages, programs and apps or just some basic conversation :-) ILA runs on Java und thus is compatible to Windows, Mac and Linux. It is designed to integrate with your home enviroment and for example build up your own, free and open Amazon Echo replacement ;-) Right now the key components of ILA are the open source speech recognition CMU Sphinx-4, Google (Speech Recognition/Text-To-Speech) and MaryTTS (Text-To-Speech). The goal is to make ILA completely free of Google by improving all aspects of the open source systems. Since version 3.3 users can also write own add-ons to extend ILA. The BioEnergy Allocation and Simulation Tool (BEAST) is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy production in the context of available biomass potentials and corresponding economic and ecological criteria on a regional level. It is a useful tool in participative decision making processes by iterative simulation and visualization of complex issues. BEAST is a data- and model-driven Decision Support System (DSS) evaluating woody biomass potentials from forests, hedges and trees outside forests as well as short rotation coppice (SRC). The latter one is modelled spatially explicit. This opens the possibility to identify prefered areas for SRC production under different restrictions and goals. Forest wood and wood from outside forests are treated only aggregated. -

EDM Calibration Baseline Fitting
EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.
An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation. Based on two classical hypothesis testing, EDMFit provides a reliable outlier detection. For uncertainties budgeting, EDMFit makes use of Monte-Carlo simulations and supports different distribution function: - Uniform distribution, - Triangular distribution and - Gaussian (normal) distribution. For refractive index determination, the application supports the following models: - Barrel and Sears (1939), - Edlen (1953, 1966), - Owens (1967), - IAG (1999) and - Ciddor (1996, 2002). The results of the adjustment are reported in a template-based and valid HTML5/CSS3 report. -

GNU Gluco Control (GGC) is diabetes management application. It helps managing user's daily data, food data. Has graphs, statistics, printing, diabetes devices support (meter, pump, CGMS). It works on any platform supporting at least Java 5 (1.5). Our repo moved to GIT (click on tab Git Code), Lowest supported Java now is 1.8 and project code base is in process of redesign (updating libraries and ways how application is built and run).
